not really as at mo i'm only usin a actuater to controll boost, the only problem is it runs more boost in higher gears.(due to more load).

the map sensor controlls fuelin to boost, so runnin a boost controller, as long as the ecu's mapped to run sed boost, will not have a problem.

but if the controller fails, its very much like if a airinj fails, or actuater pipe fails.
