Not many patrol cars actually carry a copy of PACE so the first thing they will probably have to do is radio to the station and ask someone to bring them a copy!
OR take you down the station to read it - and leave your car on the side of the road
All I can see all of this doing is just winding them up, not actually letting you get away with speeding. Like said above what is a good reason - there can't be many
