Found an 1.8 clx (105 bhp) on the breakers yard for 200 quid. this engine is internally the same as the 130 bhp version isn't it? Think i'm going to use that as a base for a turbo 1.8.
My thought was using the EFI management with custom chip, 1.8 zetec with lowered compression and exhaust manifold of an rs turbo (low pressure), then using a rst scorpion exhaust.
How much bhp and torque should this bring to my car?
My guess is round 160/170 bhp or so? Am i very wrong here?
A RST gearbox with lsd should cope with this power??
