how the hell does wins work you update a mapping and 2 seconds later some other bloody server has replicated over what youve done so you tombstone the fucker, and then it still SOMEHOW appears on random wins server somewhere else

i spent about an HOUR updating static mappings on the primary wins server sing the wins tool on m PC... then when im done i check on the server itself logged in locally, and NONE of the changes i made are appearing!!! i mean fooking come on, WHERE THE FUCK DID MY CHANGES GO, BOTTOMLESS PIT?!!?!?!?!?! so you FINALLY get rins working, then then you find out some complete fucking spanner has slapped an LMHOSTS.SAM file on another primary domain controller.... whoops the fucking trust has dissapeared COCKS always helps when sme twat locks down their server not to trust enterprise administrators, so you've got to literally HACK into the server to sort the thing out... self important northern wankers who think none of us down south can be trusted with access to the DCs


note to self... never ever ever again move NT4 domain controllers to anotehr site and change their IP addresses
