I've had this problem on 3 cvh's, 2 * 1.4 and 1 * 1.6. now they were all carb's, when this problem crop's up all i have to do is clean out the jet's in the carb's and they have all run perfect. my latest car also has this problem. now, i have personally dismantled and cleaned the carb's, i have had the fuel tank's and fuel lines cleaned and have never managed to solve the problem. I have even inserted fuel filter's just before the carb's to no joy.

This must be a common problem as i have had it in 3 cars out of 3/ so, have i missed something in the carb or is something getting throught he fuel filter (asuming the filter actually removes all the dirt and the tank is clean)

any help is much appreciated.
