think the best way to launch (that i have found in my turbo) is keep revving to 2500-3000rpm and keep dabbing the throttle so your holding 0psi boost instead of vacuum...then let the clutch up...as the clutch is coming up your increasing the throttle so your riding the clutch a bit while accelerating....

with the above technique i have beaten many faster more powerful cars off the line no probs.....am in second within 2-3 seconds!!

give it a go mate

i think you have it spot on with that technique, be harsh, drive it like you have nicked it LOL, its the only way. I was trying to do this on the strip but been my first time i was bricking it so i either set off waiting to come on boost then just spinning into second then still spinning into third or just spinning off the line, plus a bit of clutch slip sometimes didnt help.
But i have a plan, today i have fitted my in car boost kit, with it turned right down i can launch with 12 to 14 psi so i have some traction in second then pop it into third whilst spinning the bleed valve to 20+ psi.
Easyer said than done eh! Is there a solonoid on the market for a electronic two stage boost control?

thanks for advice
