I have a rouse sport 302-r and the turbo is very nearly expired

and at a recent rolling road session i was told that the fuelling is all over the shop
Now here's my dilemma.
Do I stick with the standard rouse setup (as there were only a few made). Get the turbo repaired and a decent mapped chip
or
Go stage 3. Bigger turbo, injectors and chip etc......
I would prefer to keep the car standard coz it's a Rouse and if i moddify it i might get shot

, but then I would like more power from the old girl
