Yeah i get them all the time. Just play on it if your like me and got nowt better to do.
They usually always say 'Blah blah blah BT/Call 24/cheap telephone calls'
There's a few replies you can give
1) If advertising for cheap calls, just say 'But i don't want to be with the company your offering to sign me up to! i want to be with the telephone company you use seeing as its so cheap to call the UK from india'
2) That sounds like a very good package, could you sign me up to it please? My address? Yes, its 'Rickshaw way, calcutta, india'
3) Just speak in the worst lingo you can muster up 'alright me old china, yea i'll have some of that shit, u get me? How do i pay? with a kite or on the sly?'
4) Oh my god! i'm so glad you called! My wife iwll be home in about 20 minutes and i've made a right fuck up of this Korma....your indian arn't you? Can you help me?
5) The best one i like to use is the 'All my calls are free anyway' routine. They will be trying to sell you discount phonebill crap, so just say 'I get free phonecalls, now can you beat my company on price at all?' You watch them try and con you out of free calls into cheap calls.
