The problem with that is the 24 hour database will be around 20 pages out of date!! PF shifts too much data to be so far out of date, and all your favourite features would be useless, such as "View posts since my last visit" and "View posts in last 24hrs" Etc. Etc.

Pet is still modifying the way its searched and indexed and it should be almost finished by tonight all being well.

Bear with us.. it all takes time, and we leave it online so you can still use it where most take it offline totally for days whilst things are worked on, which is of course an option if folk prefer.
