theyre what jason ennes managed to aquire...
we both doubt the "low comp" part, but theyre definately big valve.
just been n collected the car n had a more thorough chat about the problem. its likely that the cam is still intact and that it is indeed the dreaded VSR

that'll serve me right for not putting in anywhere near as much lead additive as i should have been
wont know for 100% until the heads come off tho... and may aswell stick a new cam in there anyway whilst thats being done... lol
doh, a nice shiny new bottom end would indeed be the best idea, but my bank balance says otherwise
stsve, yes it is the problem i was having on sunday mate
jlr: imho i'd avoid RSR like the plague...
i've never had any issues with kwikfit in bromley north

but then i'm friendly with the guys in there so they always do things proper for me
bert once again the car has done 64k (well it did when i bought it, its just swung round to 70k now). but anyway, why has mileage got anything to do with general engine health? you can get an engine thats done 200k thats still in better nick than one thats only got 2k on the clock... depends on so many factors its unreal (one of those factors being using the correct type of fuel

)
