Default problems with brakes

im having problems with the brakes on my mk4 escort estate im doing up,ive fitted the brakes that were on my s2 erst which is a 4x4 cossie setup, the estate was a 1.3 ive kept the servo on the car but put the rs master cylinder on,ive also put the rear brake compensators on aswell, ive bled the brakes about three times manually and also put an easy bleed on it 2 times and it seems to hav got all the air out of the system, ive nearly filled a 2 litre bottle from bleeding the brakes

now the problem is i still cant get any feel in the pedal, ive taken it for a drive round the block and the pedal goes almost to the floor b4 the car stops but then every now and then the pedal only went down a little bit and it stopped fine, anybody got any ideas please, also in the 2 rear brake lines under the bonnet just b4 the pipes go under the car there is two little cylinders 1 on each pipe, has anybody got any ideas what they might be for and would they maybe part of the problem

any ideas or suggestions will be much appreciated,im hoping to be putting the engine out of the rs into the estate over the weekend but would prefer to hav the brakes sorted b4 the engine goes in so its 1 less thing to hav to worry about
