Let me assure you.. it's not a styling issue!
The pipes and tanks are shaped for a very good reason- it aids air flow thus giving a much stronger mid range feel to the car and lower inlet temps to the intercooler due to less resistance.
Many people spend good money on gas flowing, performance exhausts,high-flow air filters etc- but do not consider the flow characteristics of the intercooler.. it's all in the same circuit so surely it requires the same attention to detail and design!
Also the rounded corners and fabricated brackets are designed with strength in mind, this is why more and more of the higher powered cossies are moving over to Pro Alloy coolers.













And they look bling!

ps.. they arent £80 extra......wish they were
