mine nearly went up 2 yrs ago had a pre turbo oil filter which snapped leaving oil dripping onto my zorst manifold and i was on the motorway at the time doing 100mph

noticed a slight trail of black smoke and pulled off at the junction as it was right there. Pulled up to the lights and i could see smoke pouring through the bonnet vents opened the bonnet to see a small flame caused by oil on the hot zorst ran into the car and pulled my fire extinguisher out but there was no pin and no trigger so i could nt use it sat there for a min and the flame had gone when i turned the engine off but i knew it would ignite once i start her up again. Anyway being only a few hundred yards from my house i decided to drive it there gently and promptly parked it up and inspected the damage - luckily there wasnt any apart from needing a new pre turbo filter.
