The escort recaros are different to the fiesta recaros however you might stand a better chance if you use the escorts subframes instead. I've justed fitted some recaros from a Mk3 RST into my Mk2 XR2 and had to modify both sets of subframes and make a hybrid but was told afterwards that the escort seats bolt straight in. If you go back down the scrapyard get some escort subframes and try them if not you'll have to make your own using the ones you have
