I have made a few enquiries and from what I can see, nowhere in the vicinity will allow camping, after all the exposure in the local papers last year. I emailed a mate who lives nr Elvington and he couldn't come up with any suggestions at all

Only option is to find somewhere else outside of York - like Wetherby or summat
