Bought a TFT screen + dvd player for mrsFrog's cossie, car already had three gauges in top vent and the lower part of the dash doesn't really lend itself to having a pop out screen in there, so the computer module had to go... here's how.

MDF blank to fill the hole:


Tapered edges for a flush fit.


Test fitting


Hole made for the cage


Needed to trim a few internal plasticky bits off


Now glued in place and gaps filled


In-car test fit.


Can still the the important part of all the gauges



A little more filling and sanding required for a real smooth factory look, then priming/painting to the original plastic
