when i bought my car the cold start wasnt connected and the the car had exactly the same problem as yours. i connected it and it made no difference. i put it down to a leaky injector and have spoke to power n enginering and they agreed it it was most likely to be an injector problem. they are often a problem with them, cos there manual injectors you cant get them cleaned but i think there only about £20 or so each.
