my diff has gone on my 2wd cossie,

i have found a diff, but my local garage said ther fit it for 180 quid. is this about right or is that alot.

they said that you need to take rear brakes etc off!! is this true!!

any help please.
and if you or you know any1 in the essex area that can fit it please let me know.
