Used a locked diff in mine for a short while and was fun for a bit then was just
plain annoying done my rear drive shaft's in and rear beam bushes

worth while having if your into 1/4 mile's for the sake of how long it take's to
change them over and not breaking another diff

If you do weld one up as graceland said weld the planet gears to were they sit
on ( i welded right across as well so were the two flanges almost touch the rod
that the planet gear's sit was just one mass of weld and you could not see through
any more) but also put a couple of plate's on so it is smooth and dont flick
oil through the breather like mine first did!!!
