We have allways been so paranoid about fire. Even more now since our Baby daughter Katie came along. We have a mains powered detector with batt back up in the house which rules out letting the Batt go flat. When it dose the thing beeps every 15 mins untill you replace it

Should be a leagal requirment nowadays. Every home should have at least one.
