Right,i got it started

But im confused as hell On the starter where there are two red wire's to connect, both of mine are going onto the same place, now i noticed the nut holding these on was loose when i was changing the battery so i tightened it up thinking nothing of it.Car wouldnt start so i assumed it was the battery but still wouldnt start when fully charged Just clicked once.

So i slackened off this nut and hey presto! Car start's with ease And does so every time but every 4th time or so the volts go up to 14 and the batt light goes out.Every other time the batt light is illuminated and the volts are only at 12

Please help,any ideas appreciated

Should both these red wires be going onto the one connection?
