Doesn't the Zetec cam sensor work off the cam lobe and pick up cylinder no. one identification only or are you using this set up to get each cylinder identified?
this was done to work with Marelli cosworth management, so replicates the sensor that would be in the cossie distributor.
The original Zetec sensor target is a single lobe on the cam which is no use to Marelli, so got ground off
Both systems use the cam sensor to indicate the absolute engine position in the 720 degree 4-stroke cycle.. EEC4 uses a single lobe, Marelli uses 2 lobes, but they both perform the same function.
