Oh Dear...
The YB engines distributor doesnt just house the rotor and cap, it also houses and runs a very important sensor called the "Phase sensor"

Your going to have to mount this sensor in the head on your zetec ideally.. again, you can get ideas on how by looking in my webshop again and looking at the parts used to remove a YB distributor and relocate the sensor to the inlet camshaft.

Lots will have done it on here, so maybe put a post in general discussion for guidance.
