To be honest i may be jumping to conclusions.
A couple of replies i had about a recent post of mine suggested valve float or possibly a worn cam but the engine is only 3k old, i run the cam in properly. I did notice that my original valve springs were a little tougher than my new piper springs, obviousley due to less material
Basicaly my car is loosing power between 5 and 6 thou.
What do you mean by losing power between 5-6k? Is it noticeably running out of puff? It could simply be all done by then. What Turbo is it?
Is it Misfiring?
It could be lifters. Thats quite likely.
It is possible that the engine is giving up, but i thought a uprated cam pushed the power band further up the rev range allowing it to rev higher.
Its the way it looses power, just seems to stop pulling at about 5 thou, doesnt sound right after that.
Im using a turbo technics stage 3 blower and the engine runs sweet, no misfire allways runs on optimax. Everything is new and set up right. The lifters are pipers own, 3k old.
