I've just replaced the turbo on my S2 and have noticed some severe "twisting scratch marks" on the shaft of the actuator, where it looks like someone has turned the shaft with a pair of mole grips or pliers. Now I'm sure I read somewhere that doing that will knacker the actuator, is that right? Car seems to boost fine, would it be worth replacing or not?
