I use the pro stuff at work

The software is called milestone, it runs on a quad intel xeon box with 2 tera bytes of storage. I have 32 camera's on it.

The software supports Dome camera which search for movement, infared the lot.

even with that amount of storage I can only hold a weeks worth of data.

The best bit you can export Avi's and jpegs from it.
