You should be ok with transmission on track with slicks. I wouldn't want to launch an R+D with your power on a grippy surface with grippy tires though.

Slicks will totally transform the way your car handles on track BUT once you have tasted em, normal tyres seem PONY! even track tyres like Dunlop D01s or D02s or Yokohama A048's just feel SHITE! Slicks work out cheaper as well in the long run...

But they are a pain to change and obviously you need more wheels as well.... Mike does a nice Michelin sport track tyre. Really grippy and road legal. Cheap as well. PM Gaybird, he will sort ya. If you need Slicks, Marcos ya man
