Only real point to it in my eyes is if you physicly cant buy the turbo you want with a normal core.

BB turbos spin freer by hand, but when by hand there is no pressurised oil for the thrust bearing to float on so obv would.

Pump 4bar of oil pressure into a turbo CHRA and then spin a non-bb turbo and see how it spins
