Looks like my sensible side won me over........ doesn't look like i'll be getting an Escort Cossie quite as soon as I had hoped.

However, I went to view a house at lunchtime and have just had my offer accepted on it.

Its a 3 Bedroom Detached with large garage, on the estate I used to live on. It needs modernising inside but nothing that a lick of paint wont sort for the meantime.

The downside is im paying an £18k premium on it (which was the cossie money) but the house is everything I had wanted for in my 'ideal' list and good money for a decent sized 3-bed house.

Once i've moved and got settled i'll prob look at getting another Saph to tide me over.

Surprisingly im smiling, I thought i'd be gutted if I couldn't get the Esc, but after driving Stu's Saph this weekend I think I realised that there's no great rush and a Saph should keep me more than satisfied until im ready for the Esc.
