last time i went boarding i hired a pair of burton boots with 'normal' strap in bindings.. they were fine for the first 2 days but on the 3rd day i honestly couldnt walk more than about 50ft with them on.. they fucking killed accross the front of my foot (where the bottom of your leg meets your foot) i wouldnt wish that on my worst enemy.. i battled it out though when i got back i had a BIG bruise where the boot had been cutting into me.. i had to rest on the 4th day because of it. and even with 2 pairs of socks on it still hurt.
All im saying is choose carefully which boots you get as IMO they are the most important thing.
