Frog, agreed.

The other problem is that if you are fairly wealthy you can avoid most taxes.

Based on my own previous jobs, as a company director on 120grand a year you pay far LESS tax as a percentage than you do in a mundane 40grand a year PAYE job, thats not right at all.

Too many loopholes for the wealthy to slip through.

Trouble is if you take those away then people will run companies in a country that isnt so hard on them, so its all a balancing act between what would be fair and what the rich are prepared to pay.
