The fact that it's just a car has nothing to do with it: it's disrespecting other people's private property and I don't see why that would be funny?

Even though the caps can and will be returned it doesn't compensate for having her feel gutted at the thought of having to replace them and feeling like crap for half the day.

I enjoy having the laugh and I'm a wind-up myself but this I don't think is funny, especially not from someone I'd hardly know.

Like I said: I'd accept nothing less than the caps being delivered back to me ASAP and in person.
