Hello, can someone please help me with diff problems on our 2wd Saffy, we have just completed the engine and car, put it on the dyno (182 Kw / 288 Nm) then ran off to the drag strip only to bust the diff on the first run, both planet gears snapped in half and one sun gear lost a tooth. What I notice is a lot of pitting on the sun gear teeth and it looks as though the sun gear initiated the failure, but every thing else is fine.
My question is this a common problem on this lsd ?.
Where can I find replacement planet and sun gears?
Where can I find re assembly instructions, I have one of the CD manuals but it only gives detail for the front diff on a 4x4 but nothing on the rear diff other than how to take It out.
