Hello again Snow.....Ollie. Mate if it says "Shwartz" on your slam panel colour code plate (the one the same colour as the paint) then yours is a FLAT BLACK/FACTORY BLACK car and is quite rare in this respect. Mine simply says "Ebony"...and Ebony Lava Metallic only came out on later 4x4 cars. Whoever told you that Shwartz/Factory Black isn't a Ford colour tell 'em to go take a hike lol

As for the Sapphire badge, I'm sure i read somewhere in a buyers guide that this only appeared on later cars, perhaps the later 2wd's and then on all the 4x4's, if your's is an '88 then maybe thats why it hasn't got one my friend!

As for numbers of Factory Black 2wd's.....who knows but they ain't common lol, Factory Black 4x4 are also a rarity buy there are a few.

Ebony 4x4's are more numerous, there's more than 40 thats for sure......far more. Most folk seem to think that Moondust Silver (Moondust Zilver on the plate) is the rare one and there's more than just a few of these
