this car could be mint, but the engine was just taken from another car, so the condition of the car has no bearing on how well the engine, gearbox etc has been looked after.

I guess what Im asking is...

Can a cossie engine still be fine after 98000 miles with no rebuilds etc ???

All the cossie's i've had in the past have been rebuilt before I bought them.
