i got some silkolene pro s 10 50 off stu to try. i have always used castrol rs 10 60 but i wont be going back on castrol.

the car sounds much better on silkolene especially on a cold start and the engine feels to be looser if you can understand what i mean. its a fairly new engine build approx 5k so will be loosening up more with use but i could tell the difference as soon as i put the silkolene in it tends to rev much easier and still sounds quiet even after 30 mins of hard driving which suggests to me that its withstanding the heat generated.

the other good point is you get 5 ltrs instead of 4 ltrs so if you need to top up between oil changes you dont have to buy more, although i havent had to top up between oil changes yet.
