if its available for the right price then I say go for it. Personally, I hate working on cars hence why I rarely do But if you enjoy it, plus it looks like your dad will be helping, then do it Id love a S1 instead of my S2, but just cant warrent using it daily.

When you say TLC, what, bodywork, engine, welding? Depends how much time and patience you have.. the amount of people that take these on and get bored..
