Just installed an oil pressure gauge & oil temp gauge in my erst s2 89 and just wondered what the correct pressures should be?

These are the results i'm getting. Could anyone tell me if these are normal

Car Cold

20psi @ 900rpm / 48psi @ 3000-4000rpm

Car Hot

12psi @ 900rpm / 40psi @ 3000-4000rpm

Also when the car is started from cold it takes around 2-3 secs for the pressure light to drop out.

Is it worth fitting a high pressure pump & what would the differance in pressures be??
