i was originally going to go for a late S2 before i bought the S1 last year, and the H & J plates did not qualify for classic insurance: 1990/91 in '04 wasn't in the 15yr manufacture date. This meant that my premium would go up from £500-ish to nearly £800-£1k mark. So a saving of nearly 1/2.
