Errm, Apple has a massive user base world-wide, and their sales are increasing as they're entering the low-end market (seen the Mac mini? It's as fast as a ~2Ghz PC and starts at £399 - www.apple.com/macmini).

Oh, and Mac OS/X *is* Unix with a GUI skin, so stick that in yer pipe an' smoke it
Mac OS/X is NOT UNIX.

Linux isn't UNIX either but a least it conforms to UNIX standards. e.g. UNIX configs are stored in /etc not a 'registry'

No gcc either

You can do everything on a UNIX box on the command line! Pretty GUI's do not a proper OS make.
