Well i started as a signature moderator checking there wasnt over 25k etc and after about a month i asked could i become a full mod status and so it was done

There was also a point where you put your name down to be a mod then stu and petrucci gathered a shortlist of name that were put to the public vote ie the members decided who became moderator.
