My car has been off the road since the Performance Ford Shootout in December. It had a missfire at 5800rpm, which we simply couldnt get to the bottom of. That coupled with the fact that I have been lucky with the Standard Mahle pistons (that had been machined to lower the C/R!!

) that I was running, led me to embark upon a Rebuild.
I intend to give an insight into the new engine that I am building. Obviously I can't give everything away. But some of it may be of interest to a few of you.......

The rest of the Bottom end is already being Machined. I will be ordering Bearings and Gaskets early next week.
I have a Cylinder Head being done, which I will post photo's of once done. I am also going for a Solid Lifter Cam, which I intend to spec myself.
The Inlet Manifold and Injectors are also being changed.
This isn't a big budget rebuild, but I wanted to build an engine that will be stronger than the last one and hopefully squeeze a little more power out of it. The main thing I want is to get it 'Finished' and enjoy it. The car has been very much an open book for some time now.
