Just been reading an old post about YK2RS,(you know the one ).
People saying it isnt a real cosworth because ford didnt build it or stamp the floor.


I am going to buy a new (brand new shell) which obviously wont have stamps.So if i re-shell my car into this one ,will this car get a vin and stamps relative to my existing cosworth.As i seem to remember reading that if you use enough parts from the original car(points system)the new shell recieves the id from said cosworth!


Will this car be allso deemed a kit car as so many people where calling Paul S`s car,or was it that he used new cosie and saf cossie parts .Hence it didnt tally up on the pionts system to recieve an original ID.


All feedback appreciated befor i go out and spend a shit load of dosh on a new cosworth shell,or is it as it is as we know just a sierra base shell without ID ,Cans of worms ?
