well it will see the same pressure as it would if used on a d/v, so if it's suitable for that, then it's suitable for MAP sensor connection.

if you really are concerned, you can check it by comparing the pressure on an analogue boost gauge with that sensed by the MAP sensor using a multimeter, but if there is going to be a problem with it collapsing or bursting, it will quickly show by running like a bag of shite (warning - continuing to run with this condition could cause engine damage)
