Default Top resto tip for cleaning rusty parts

Got this off a hot rodding buddy of mine.

If you are doing the bufty on the underside of your car and you want to paint parts, there is a simple way of cleaning them perfectly.

Step 1; degrease the parts.

2; check them in a bucket of Brick Cleaner and leave for 24 hours.

3; wash off in water

Job done.

The brick cleaner is acid and removes rust from metal, it won't do grease though. Parts are perfect for painting.

Just don't get it on your skin or cloathes.!!
