for minor adjustments you could CHECK how much "take" you have in the tie rods then -
if you loosen the lock nuts on the tie rod arms and rotate BOTH tie rods in the SAME direction to move the steering over IIRC its forward goes left and backward goes right.

for small adjustments read above - sometimes you can't move it that little bit
