Motor Racing on the Highway. You never come across that in 5 years either??

Its an offence in its own right, but most cases where Motor Racing on the Highway is suggested, the charge ends up as Dangerous Driving as it doesn't require the same level of evidence. The offence code is MS50 and it is considered as serious as Drink Driving. Also, by definition, it carries a Speeding Conviction too. In my case it was SP60, but with no separate penalty.

I was racing James Raby (off here). Luckily his car is very slow and I only got to the top of third and was so far ahead of him that I didnt bother so just popped it in 4th and came of the gas. If I had taken it all the way, things I might have ended up eating porridge. Was alledgedly doing 108mph. The offence was in November 2001 and it took until July 2002 to actually convict us, thats how complicated it is. We also made 1/2 page in the local press.
