If you mean can you just fit a different ECU to the current loom, then yes you can. However, the EPROMs are not interchangeable and the 4x4 cars run a different throttle position sensor that would also require changing if a "non" 4x4 ECU was fitted and vice versa if fitted to a 2wd car.
