keep it original, clean plastic parts and use some back to black or summit, that makes a huge difference to the overall look. if you have any loose rust spots or anything on metal (NOT painted surfaces) you could VERY VERY lightly dust them off with a fine wire wool. that certainly makes my manifold and turbo look better. do not press hard as you will make it look crap.

then use a cleaner that is designed to protect paint but get off baked on dirt (oven cleaner does seem a good idea), then wash everything. hope thats a point in the right direction.
