Not sure about some of what you say, the -31 is approx 7psi on half a hole preload and the -34 is approx. 14psi.....

Im assuming you have a suitable chip to allow the boost over standard?

Ive heard it reported the -34 tends to bring the boost in with more of a punch as the wastegate stays closed longer. Bare this in mind.
